I have a daughter that is mulatto & its time for her first hair cut, anyone know of a good salon in san diego?

Calling your daughter a mulatto is fine. Biracial is too ambiguous.

Now concerning her hair: it depends on if her hair is more like yours or her daddy's. If it's more ';nappy'; then your best bet is any African-American salon. Be sure to take her to a more upscale one though, so as you don't catch any heat from the black women for ';taking one of their men.'; If it's more like yours, then just take her to the salon you attend.

But I'm sure you figured this out already. =)I have a daughter that is mulatto %26amp; its time for her first hair cut, anyone know of a good salon in san diego?
First, please stop calling your daughter a mulatto. That is a slave named used by masters to identify children who were the product of black women and their white masters. It is no longer used in modern day society, and is an insult to her and other people of mixed race. Second, if your daughter is a small child, it may be better for her hair if you just trimmed it at home. Wash her hair with her favorite shampoo, then put a conditioner in and follow the instructions for use, apply some coconut oil, part her hair into small sections and comb through and braid each section then leave hair to dry. I often do this at night so that she can sleep while her hair is drying. Then after it's dry, comb hair out and trim to the desired length, and then style as usual. I do not recommend taking a small child to the hair dresser, because of the amount of heat that will have to be used to get the child's hair to a manageable texture. If your daughter is at least 11yrs old and can take the treatment then just find a salon that specializes in doing children hair, but you have to go out yourself and visit salons and make sure you feel comfortable with them touching your child's hair. The best thing you could do is find someone with a child who has the same hair texture as your child and ask them where they get their hair done.I have a daughter that is mulatto %26amp; its time for her first hair cut, anyone know of a good salon in san diego?
Please don't call her ';mulatto'; - she biracial!

Anyways... if she half black half white, ask the black side of your family where they go to get their hair done. But, basically any African American hair salon will do good. Look around. Also, you can google places
