i think it's cute and super voluminous which i LOVE but im trying out a new salon 'cause the old one i went to didnt really know how to cut hair. would you trust this salon for a haircut like the one i want?

It doesn't seem to be an overly difficult hairstyle, I think that salon would do a fine job if you provided a picture.
