You don't have do anything! It's easier for them to wash it then cut it wet, blowdry and style. If you wash it yourself and the salon is backed up %26amp; busy then chances are it may dry before your turn and they'll end up washing it anyway.How should i prepare my hair before i go to a salon to get it cut?
Shampoo %26amp; Condition it.
They usually do that at the salon, but it's better to do it at home otherwise they might add a few dollars to the price for washing ya hair!

maybe wash it but dont straighten, curl or do anything to it as you will be getting treated there.
Do it how you normally would, then when you get it cut tell them what to change
Give it a wash and get it straightened up :P So she can define ur cut more easily
you should give it a wash... and make sure its not oily... just imagine if the hairdresser has to touch oily hair...
