I want a good long length layered cut, how do I choose a salon?

I was looking at videos on youtube and there are some cool techniques out there. How do I find a hair stylist that will do a decent job? Also, how much should I expect to pay. I've never been to a professional before, so I want good salon, but not too expensive. Any advice?I want a good long length layered cut, how do I choose a salon?

Call/visit salons and show them the picture. Ask if they could do that hairstyle really well and if they say yes give it a try.


I mean, maybe not all hair salons can do those cool scene hair or whatever you like but...

Sometimes, when I go to the hair salon to get a haircut the salonist doesn't do it exactly but actually looks better!

Try going to a salon where they can do specific ones that u like.
Deff show them a picture. If they seem confused and **** say you are going something else, b/c I hate when people **** up my hair
